My generation failed or timed out

If your script generation fails partway through, SlideScript has automatic retry systems — but sometimes manual steps help too.

SlideScript automatically retries failed slides multiple times before giving up. These retries happen silently in the background — you usually will not notice them.

If retries still fail, you will see a partial generation warning telling you which slides were generated and which were not.

The most common cause is large or image-heavy PDFs. Try compressing your PDF at ilovepdf.com and regenerating.

If the problem persists, click Report Issue in the error message — this sends diagnostic info to our team automatically.
